At a recent business award ceremony, I met a fellow awardee whose career has been deeply rooted in public health and health innovation. Our conversation quickly revealed a shared passion for building products that improve people’s lives through science, quality, and long-term responsibility.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from IU and has built extensive experience across government health institutions, private healthcare centers, and academic environments. In addition to her professional practice, she also serves as a public health professor at several universities in Cambodia, contributing actively to the education and development of future healthcare professionals.
Over the past five years, she has expanded her professional mission into health food research, development, and processing, aligning perfectly with her public health expertise. Her work focuses on transforming scientific knowledge into safe, practical, and consumer-ready products that support healthier lifestyles and disease prevention.
Through continuous engagement with relevant government institutions in the food and health sectors, as well as participation in public exhibitions and industry platforms, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing food safety, innovation, and responsible production standards. This reflects a long-term dedication to strengthening Cambodia’s public wellness ecosystem.

Today, this vision is clearly reflected in her growing product portfolio. At this stage, it is appropriate to formally introduce her as Ms. Chan Leaksmy, a public health professional and health product innovator committed to translating science into accessible consumer solutions.
One of Ms. Chan Leaks My’s flagship wellness products is Golden Mix, a premium health beverage blend made from turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and stevia, conveniently packed in sachets for daily consumption. The product supports natural balance, digestion, and daily wellness through carefully selected natural ingredients.
Personal Testimonial – Tola Phat

“I have personally tasted the Golden Mix, and it blends extremely well. The taste is smooth, pleasant, and very easy to drink. The combination of ingredients is thoughtfully balanced, creating a unique and enjoyable flavor. It is a product I would confidently recommend, and one that truly deserves broader recognition in the market.”
In addition, Ms. Chan Leaksmy has developed the AYVD Herbal Mosquito Repellent Spray, formulated with natural essential oils such as lemongrass, bergamot, eucalyptus, and flower extracts. The product is DEET-free, paraben-free, and fragrance-free, offering a safer alternative for families while delivering effective mosquito protection and a refreshing natural aroma. Proudly labeled Made in Cambodia, the product reflects strong readiness for nationwide distribution.
Currently, Ms. Chan Leaksmy is actively seeking interested investors and strategic distribution partners to scale production, expand market reach, and strengthen national distribution channels. Her long-term goal is to position Cambodian-developed health products as trusted solutions both domestically and regionally.
Her journey demonstrates how academic excellence, field experience, and entrepreneurship can converge to create meaningful social impact — strengthening public health outcomes while driving sustainable growth within Cambodia’s rising health and wellness industry.
